How this free roadmap works

This tool compares what you tell us about your current experience against the real requirements of your target role — required and preferred credentials, education, hard and soft skills, and typical experience — and sorts each one into what you already have, what partially transfers, and what's genuinely missing. Nothing is guessed or inflated: if the evidence isn't there, we say so plainly rather than assuming it.

Job Fit vs. Career Value: two different questions

Job Fit answers "can my current skills and experience reasonably qualify me for this specific job?" Career Value asks a related question: "how well does a specific opportunity move you toward where you ultimately want to go?" Most job search tools only ever answer the first question, matching you to what you've already done. SeekrX answers both, because getting hired isn't the same as getting where you actually want to be. To see the difference in detail, read Job Fit vs. Career Value, or see how SeekrX scores jobs.

Common questions this tool answers

What careers can I transition into?
It depends entirely on what you already have and how far you're willing to move. Enter your current role and a target above and this tool will show you, specifically, how much of your background already applies and what would need to change.
How do I get from my current role to a different target role?
The roadmap above breaks that move into stages — what you already satisfy, what bridges the gap, and what's left to close — grounded in the actual requirements of the target role, not generic advice.
What skills transfer to another career?
Enter your current experience and a target role above; the "already there" and "transfer partly" sections show exactly which parts of your background carry over, and why.
What skills am I missing for a specific career?
The "gaps" section lists what the target role typically requires that isn't yet supported by what you told us — each one explained, not just listed.
How far am I from qualifying for a role?
The directness rating at the top of your results is a plain-language estimate of how much of the target role's core requirements you already cover versus how much is still missing.
